Possible cause:

• Melt is too thin-bodied or foams

Remedies:

• Reduce back pressure
• Predry molding compound more effectively
• Lower melt temperature
• Decrease nozzle temperature
• Use shut-off nozzle
• Return stroke of screw after material feed
• Fit nozzle closely to mold
